Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Listing, claiming and renter inquiries are free for landlords and renters, and always will be. There are no paid plans, no paid placement and no ads. Every listing is sorted by distance from the base.

Who sees my listing?

Service members, spouses and families looking for a home near a base, often before they arrive. Your listing shows on every base page within 25 miles of your address, in search, and next to the renter's 2026 BAH for that area.

Can I advertise only to military renters?

You can market to military renters, and many landlords do. But you can't refuse to rent to someone because they aren't in the military, or because of any protected characteristic. Every listing here must be open to all qualified renters.

What does the military clause badge mean?

That your lease lets a service member end it early on PCS or deployment orders, as the SCRA requires, or on better terms. How the SCRA works.

Which areas do you cover?

206 U.S. military installations. Your rental appears on each base page within 25 miles (straight-line distance).

My property is already listed as "Unclaimed". What now?

We list apartment communities near each base from public map data so renters can find them. Press "Claim it free" on that listing; the form opens with the name and address filled in. If your email address uses the same domain as the property's website, we email you a 6-digit code and your listing goes live as soon as you enter it. Otherwise, upload a document that shows you manage the property (a management agreement, utility bill, tax bill or business license) and we review it, usually within one business day. Verified listings show a "Verified by property" badge.

Can I list several floor plans?

Yes. Choose "A community with several floor plans" and add one row per plan with beds, baths, size, rent range, available date and units open. Your listing shows the rent range.

Can I offer a military-only special?

Yes. Add it in the form (for example "$500 off first month for active duty") with an end date if it has one. It shows as a "Military special" tag, and renters can filter for listings that have one. The listing itself stays open to all qualified renters.

How do I change my listing later?

Use the private edit link we email you. Rent and availability changes go live right away; new photos and text are checked first.
